Since entering university, her work has evolved to encompass diaristic photography, collaborations with fashion brands, and experimentation with alternative processes like cyanotypes and lumen prints. "I want my pictures to resonate both with my own experiences and with the viewer," Chen explains. "I acknowledge that my photographs reflect aspects of my own identity, but simultaneously, I aim for them to resonate with the viewer and their unique experiences."
From capturing landscapes to pushing boundaries with alternative techniques and crafting still lifes of botanical wonders or straightforward fashion portraits, her work presents a rich tapestry of human experience.
