‘The Rebels’ is a collective series featuring contemporary teenagers who illuminate the unstable nature of identity in society at their age. Their attitude towards self-presentation, characterized by thick makeup, hairstyles, tattoos, scars, and even their facial expressions, intrigues me. They draw me into a realm of unpredictable imagination.

        Inspired by their approach, I invited my acquaintances to participate and photographed them in their most intimate spaces. As we converse and share stories, I capture their authentic emotions, seizing fleeting moments of vulnerability from their expressions. Through their portraits, we witness the internal turmoil of their emotions and their methods of survival, as they resist societal constraints in their teenage years.
